Classical Chinese music has long been perceived as traditional, old-fashioned and boring in Hong Kong. As a 9-year Erhu player, I would like to challenge the perspective through real-time audio visualisation with 6 different pieces.
With help of machine learning and creative coding, a set of fun interactive graphics are designed to react with the live performance. The usage of colours and graphics creates a vibrant and energetic vibe that redefine the impression of traditional Chinese music and help to resonates with the younger generation.
