Sensra is an independent typeface project developed during the Type@Cooper Extended Programme, exploring how a text typeface can balance technological precision with human warmth.
Sensra is a low-contrast transitional serif designed for a consumer electronics brand, Nothing. Made for reading, Sensra is a twelve-style family with Roman and Italic in six weights.
Precise, mechanical and calm, its clean structured forms are engineered that echo the minimal details of Nothing products. Small irregularities remain in the details like the curved serif and inktrap, adding a layer of softness and warmth to the typeface.
Sensra gives technology a quiet human voice.
